Lindy Benton has worked in the Healthcare Information Technology field for over 20 years and is currently the CEO of EA Holdings which includes Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA) and National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA).
Prior to MEA/NEA, Lindy served as divisional executive at The Sage Group, managing a $350 million division with 1,400 employees. Prior to Sage, Lindy worked at Cerner Corporation for 15 years. She held various leadership positions where she achieved double digit revenue growth while building high performing teams that were recognized year after year with Outstanding Achievement Awards. Previously she worked at Digital Equipment Corporation as the division manager responsible for healthcare business in the Southeast.
Lindy serves on advisory boards for several health IT and capital investment companies, working with executive teams to drive both acquisition and organic growth strategies in North American and global markets. Lindy is a member of the Foundation Board for Florida Hospital for Children and serves on executive councils for several health related committees and industry associations. She is also an active member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Lindy holds a Master of Science degree from Florida State University with extended post graduate work in Measurement and Statistics.
David Fincher leads dental sales and services for National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA), David has been with NEA since its inception in 1997, and was responsible for the rapid growth in the provider market. As Vice President of Dental Sales, David is dedicated to developing the strategic planning and implementation of sales initiatives for the payors, channel partners and dental providers. During his tenure with NEA, David has spoken at many seminars and panels across the country and is known in the dental industry as an expert on electronic attachments.
David earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and is a former USMCR non-commissioned officer. He had held various management positions with RJR Nabisco, Sears, and NEA.
Cindy Jacoby is a successful healthcare business professional and sought-after speaker with expertise in management, operations and sales. Cindy is the vice president of sales at Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc.(MEA) where she focuses on some of the company's key sales and marketing operations. Cindy joined MEA in the spring of 2007, where she started as customer operations manager, and quickly advanced to director of payor relations.
With her extensive business knowledge and healthcare industry experience, Cindy is a regular speaker at business and national healthcare conferences and serves on the National Dental EDI Council (NDEDIC) board of directors. Cindy received her Masters of Business Administration from the Coles College of Business in 2006. While pursuing her MBA, she also became a certified managerial coach, where she now coaches students in the Kennesaw State University MBA program. Cindy also serves on the EMBARK Alumni Board at Kennesaw State University.
Kent McAllister is a seasoned CIO and one of the leading innovators in the IT industry with more than 20 years in software and healthcare solutions. He can provide expert industry perspective on how technology in healthcare is evolving and its implications, the future of claims processing and how it will impact payors and providers, and insights on healthcare cloud computing.
Kent currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA) and National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA) where he directs product innovation and oversees technological operations. Prior to joining MEA/NEA, Kent led the professional services organization at Sage Healthcare through an impressive 20% capacity expansion. Kent also served as EVP/CIO at Nueterra Holdings, and during that time he launched an IT company called Mavicor, LLC dedicated to addressing the technology needs of ambulatory surgical center clients.
Kent began his career in healthcare while at IBM and then further developed his career at Cerner Corporation. He has also served as EVP/CIO in the health provider community for LabOne, which was one of the country's largest reference labs, and was CIO at Health Midwest, one of the Midwest's largest nonprofit health systems.
Kent holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian Univeristy.
Claudia is Chief Financial Officer of Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA) and National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA). Claudia oversees all company accounting practices, financial reporting, financial strategy, and budgetary planning. Claudia joined MEA/NEA in Spring 2010 with over 15 years of experience in the public accounting, financial services and manufacturing industries. Claudia's broad experience includes positions with Arthur Andersen LLP, a controller at Auto Nation's Financial Services Division (a fortune 500 company), and she also served as CFO of Sundance Products, Inc.
Claudia graduated Summa Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Accounting and a Bachelor of Finance degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Don Gerdts is Vice President of Operations for Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA) and National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA). Over the last 25 years, Don has demonstrated leadership within the health plan and insurance community in developing collaborative relationships, information technology strategy, infrastructure, business operations, and governance that are the acknowledged foundation of the operational success and competitive advantage of his clients. Don's responsibilities have ranged from information systems product development, creation of technical infrastructure, program/project management, business and systems analysis and IS/IT transformation initiatives and strategic planning for large organizations and start-ups as well.
In addition, Don has helped to successfully create other health-related companies and organizations including FirstGuard Health Plan (a community-benefit, government-sponsored health plan), BenefitSource, and Oceans of Mercy-a South African HIV/AIDS orphan rescue charity. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Warren National University.
Nicole Smith brings over 15 years of marketing, management and sales experience to her role at Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA) and National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA). Nicole leads a team that is responsible for the company's marketing and communications activities, including image and market development, corporate communications, industry analyst and media relations, brand management, advertising and research across all MEA/NEA products and services. She plays a critical role as a key member of the senior leadership team with full responsibility for all aspects of marketing and integrating strategic initiatives with the company's objectives.
Prior to being appointed to her current position, Nicole served as the Provider Sales and Marketing Manager. Nicole joined the company in 1998 as a marketing specialist.
Nicole is a graduate of Georgia State University and is an active member of the American Marketing Association.
Rick Sevigny is an exceptional leader in human resources and organizational development. He brings over 20 years experience in strategic human resources and employee engagement and has a keen understanding on how to create and sustain a diverse work culture. Rick is committed to excellence in policies, procedures, process and practices for fair/consistent results and making leading organizations the employers of choice in their fields.
Prior to joining Medical Electronic Attachment, Inc. (MEA) and National Electronic Attachment, Inc. (NEA), Rick has held various leadership positions in human resources. In his most recent position as vice president of human resources at Caremedic Systems, Rick was instrumental in implementing various employee services programs all geared toward employee alignment to the overall Strategic Plan.
Rick graduated from University of Central Florida and is an active member of the International Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
